How to enable a disabled or inactive Add-in within Outlook 2016, 2013 and 2010

Are you missing an Add-in from within Outlook?

Checking the status of an Add-in

  1. Within Outlook click “File
  2. Click “Options
  3. Click “Add-ins
  4. You can now see and review all the Add-ins and their status

  5. There are 3 types of statuses
    • Active = Working
    • Inactive = Potentially not working
    • Disabled = Definitely not working

 

Enabling an Inactive or Disabled Add-in

In the example below we will be enabling the “Macroview DMF” Add-in from both Disabled and Inactive states.
